I love colour. I work with it every day, and choosing a favourite is like asking me to choose a favourite child. But equally, I'm drawn to the simplicity and calm of a simple black and white scheme. It's the perfect neutral backdrop to whatever colour takes your fancy, yet it can stand on its own. You mean it's been two weeks.......?

...since I posted last? Good grief. The best laid plans don't always come to fruition, do they? Time has slipped away from me yet again, but there's been a lot happening. Mum and Dad's bathroom is almost done - just the shower screen and plantation shutters to go. Once it's all ready I'll do a full post...promise! Well hello there...

Hi all, remember me? I know it's been a while between drinks (far too long in fact), but I'm back at long last. To give you a quick recap, my daughter had surgery (and had really rough time of it, poor thing), I've been working non-stop on lots of new pieces, and I also have some really exciting ventures planned (which I'll share as soon as I can). So my little blog has been sadly neglected, as something had to give...well, if I wanted to stay sane anyway. But now I'm back and can't wait to catch up on everything - I've missed you all more than you know!<br /><br />As well as working on lots of new paintings (more on those later), I've been helping mum and dad with the renovation of their bathroom. In the mad rush of the past few months, I forgot to take before snaps (I know, I know!) but tomorrow I'll be back with a few shots of how it's coming along.
