Quick Tip Tuesday: Food Wrap Storage

Now that our cabinets are in place, we plopped down a board to act as a temporary counter for meal prep!  Exciting things are happening!  And with meal prep and leftovers, we occasionally use various types of food wrap.  Looking for a quick storage solution, I decided to give something a try...<br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; DIY Hair Tool Organizer

text-align: center;"></div>What I love about this project is: a) it was inexpensive, around $15,  b) it can be customized even more with paint or stencils or vinyl, and c) it was easy peasy to build!  Here are the materials we ended up using:<br /><ul><li><a href="http://www.homedepot.com/p/Unbranded-Medium-Density-Fiberboard-Common-1-4-in-x-2-ft-x-4-ft-Actual-0-216-in-x-23-75-in-x-47-75-in-1508104/202089069" target="_blank">2'x4' sheet of 1/4" MDF</a></li><li><a href="http://www.homedepot.com/p/Unbranded-1-2-in-x-1-2-in-Poplar-Square-Dowel-12-3HWSQED/202287696" target="_blank">1/2" square dowel</a></li><li>Decorative moulding</li><li><a href="http://www.homedepot.com/p/BEHR-1-qt-Metal-Paint-Bucket-and-Lid-96604/100112530" target="_blank">Empty quart paint can</a>/soup can </li><li>Wood glue</li><li>Wood putty</li><li>Sand paper</li><li>Primer/Paint</li></ul><br />Helpful tools:<br /><ul><li>Clamps</li><li>Saw</li><li>Brad Nailer</li></ul>  <br />I wanted the hair tool organizer to be about 16" wide and 4 1/2" deep, so we cut down the MDF board accordingly.<br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both;
